Summer nights at my parents pool...good times! We spent almost every night out by the pool.

Jennifer and Rich stopped by for a while. It was my first time to meet Rich and I was impressed! He seems to be a really solid guy and loves Jennifer so that makes me happy to see her happy. She gave Paige some really cute bracelets so Paige was saying thank you.

5 Great Grandkids

Saturday we went to Papa and MeMaw's house. My Papa mentioned it would be nice to get all his grandkids and great-grandkids together while we were in town so we made it happen! We had a fun afternoon playing over there and eating some tasty BBQ.

Papa and his 5 great-grandkids! Aiden (18 mo), Tyler (5 mo), Paige (2 1/2 yrs), Kendra (1 yr) and Kim (1 yr). I know this isn't the greatest picture but it was the best I could get!

We're off to Texas!

Well...we were off to Texas about a month ago and I'm just now getting to all the posts about it! I have uploaded the pictures over the past month and I have 25 posts to do so these are going to be short and sweet!

Reunited and it feels so good...Paige LOVES her Tootsie and Tootsie LOVES her Paigey

Yes! My break begins now!! You might have noticed that Jeromy isn't in any of these pictures and it's because he came out a few days after us. Yup, I flew with both kids by myself! They were both great :) It was still total chaos but they did great and we made it out alive!

Tonight we were playing out in the neighborhood and I asked to Jeromy to put some warmer clothes on Tyler...and here's what he came out with! Isn't that the sweetest face you've ever seen?! Hopefully this hat will still fit when it's actually cold enough to wear it!

Jeromy came up with the title of this one for me! I was laughing the other day at Tyler with his shirt on his head and Jeromy said he looked like a nun!

That night we went to Jason's birthday party. Jeromy and Paige took the jeep. We had a great time eating pizza and drinking beer with all our friends. Paige had so much fun riding in the Jeep and pitched a major fit the next morning when Jeromy put her car seat back in the Yukon. This little girl loves spending time with her Daddy!

Where the Surf Meets the Turf

Sunday, after Church (how appropriate) we went to the Del Mar Horse Races! Little did we know it was family fun day! They had jumpy houses, pony rides, crafts, etc for kids. It was all free so the lines were ridiculous so we didn't actually do much! We still had lots of fun spending time with just the 4 of us :) We bet on 2 races and won $15...yahoo!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ethan!

Tonight was Ethan's 3rd birthday party! What a fun Tuesday night! Ethan and all the kids love running around with their Tonka trucks so Nicole asked everyone to bring their trucks for an official race. So cute. Paige wanted nothing to do with it! All the kids lined up and Paige was kinda like...okay, what's the big deal...and she went back to playing on the playground! She doesn't have a truck so they were saying I should get her one and decorate it with some polka dot bows! Oh well, me and Jeromy had fun watching the race!

Tyler is the only baby right now so all the Momma's just love snuggling with him. And Chris too :) He was being passed around all night! I makes me happy that everyone loves him so much!

This is Paige's new buddy Hadley. She is one of Ava's good friends and has been coming to Stroller Strides this Summer. She is super girly girl and Paige is totally in to older girls right now so she is right up her alley!

Beach Day!

Last week we had a beach day with Sarah, Carson and Brooke and had so much fun! Tyler did great and the kids got along really well. I love going to the beach! It makes me appreciate living in San Diego. The water is super cold but the kids don't even notice and love playing in the water. Paige got tackled by a wave and I didn't catch her quick enough so she totally went under water but I just said "wow, you're a great swimmer!" and it didn't seem to phase her much!

This is the umbrella from Paige's beach chair...it worked as a little shade area for Tyler! Brooke was quite interested in Tyler and kept wanting to give him some sandy kisses...too cute :)

Princess Scooter

Jeromy took Paige with him the other morning to go to the bank or something and came back with a Barbie pool, princess scooter and the Alice and Wonderland DVD. WHAT?! This kid has more toys than she knows what to do with. Anyway, she has enjoyed all of them but we've decided (more like I told him this is the way it's going to be) that we're going to start a chart and she'll get a sticker when she does something good...like maybe not whining for a day (fat chance of that ever happening!!) and then we she gets 5 stickers or something she'll get a toy. I think we need to start teaching her that you don't just always get toys for no reason. Anyway, she is still getting the hang of the scooter but she does like it! Here's the neighborhood gang scooting away...

Ready for Preschool

Tootsie bought Paige her preschool backpack and a new dance bag. How could you resist the new pink and brown bags they have at Pottery Barn Kids?! Paige loves them and so do I :)
