This is at Trader Joe's when we got our last minute Thanksgiving dinner. I LOVE Trader Joe's!
Another typical night. Jerm propped Tyler up on Paige's toy stroller with a bottle and played him a little tune before bed. Tyler loves the guitar
So, so sweet. I've started a horrible habit of reaching my arm in the backseat and letting Tyler hold one of my fingers when he is crying and/or tired so Paige will hold one his hand too. Sometimes he likes it and sometimes he doesn't. This day he let her hold his hand while he fell asleep. I looked back to smile and her and she lit up and had the biggest, sweetest smile on her face because she had put him to sleep. Talk about melting my heart! Oh my goodness. Anyway, when we pulled in the garage, they were both asleep and I went to get Paige first to transfer her to bed and this is what I found. Oh man...it's these moments that I hope I remember forever because they are so, so special and precious.
Holy Bows! I mentioned to a few friends here in SD that my Mom got 12 bows for $12 and they asked me if I would get them some while we were there. We went to Sam Moon to get some and I texted my friends this picture and Danielle replied with "Holy Bows!"
Ethan and Ava came over the other morning for a few hours while Nicole got a massage and they were busy little bee's moving from one activity to another.

Merry Christmas!

Paige must have been a good girl this year because Santa brought her everything she wished for! She was so excited to see her bike by the tree and hopped right on to take a quick ride around the house.

Ethan and Chris came over to see if Paige wanted to take her new wheels for a ride. Ethan got a bike from Santa too! These pictures are so cute! Their first bike rides ;) Paige got some jammies to match her robe and didn't want to take them off to ride her bike so that's what's under her jacket, btw...

Then Alex came off to show off his new wheels! He better make sure to close his garage every night because I can see Jerm going over there to take it for a spin! He was so proud of it

Ava and Nicole came over too and the girls went up to Paige's room to play dress up. I made Paige put on a jacket and she picked out her snow boots. No, I didn't buy her snow boots...they were a hand-me-downs :) Anyway, they hopped on the back and were giddy and grinning from ear to ear!

Don't worry, I'll be home later Mom! Oh goodness...I don't even want to think about those days!

I guess these are the only pictures I took all day! We took many bike rides, skateboard rides, watched most of It's a Wonderful Life and ate a great dinner. Kendyl came over around 8ish and spent the night with us. The next day we went to Church and to lunch. Good family times!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

That morning Paige and I made cookies for Santa and all of our neighborhood friends before we went to the beach. That night we ate a great dinner and watched some Christmas movies. Paige really had fun watching them all month! Here's a quick pic before bed of Paige and Jerm laying out cookies and milk for Santa and a few carrots for the reindeer.

Watchout Roller Derby...

Princess Paige is ready to roll!!! Matt and Reyna got her roller skates for Christmas and she is loving them. She is no where near ready to ride them on her own but still has fun with them!

AMAZING!

We went to the beach on Christmas Eve for Jerm to surf and us to take a walk. On our walk, Paige said "Mom, who made that cross?" I kinda blew it off because I didn't know what she was seeing but she kept asking me about it and I finally saw this in the sky! Is that not the most amazing thing? And, on Christmas Eve?! It's like God was reminding us of the reason for the season. It was quite a special moment :)

Kids Christmas Party

Oh my goodness...complete chaos! Well, controlled chaos :) Shereen hosted and is such an amazing hostess! She is so calm and always is ready and willing to help anyone with anything. Anyway, it was so much fun to see everyone! We all brought stuff to share for dinner and drinks. The kids got along amazingly well and I know everyone had a blast. We had a secret Santa exchange. Paige got the cutest leotard/tutu outfit and Tyler got his first firetruck! It's a remote control one so I know he's going to love it for a long time.

Stallings Christmas

The Stallings Clan headed over December 18 to celebrate Christmas! Grammy got started early cooking dinner and had a little helper. They did the turkey first and then moved on to all the side dishes. Paige sure loves to help in the kitchen.

Matt, Reyna, Hayden and Zoey came over around 2ish and we started celebrating! Jeromy NEVER takes naps and about 30 minutes after they got there, we looked over and found him like this! Ha! Poor guy, he's so exhausted. He has been working so hard...and "celebrating" so hard and he is officially pooped!

We gave Zoey some bows from Texas and one ended up in Hayden's hair too! Zoey ended up with a bow and lots of mashed potatoes!
