Kendyl's Birthday / Disneyland!

Friday was Kendyl's 23rd birthday...so we went to Disneyland!! You can go for free on your birthday so I was really excited that she had the day off and we could go. Paige and I went with Matt and Reyna in January for Reyna's birthday, bought a season's pass...and haven't been back! I bought the Southern California special pass so we have some days that are blocked out and of course I forgot to check before we got there...and that day was blocked! Luckily they offered me a deal so I didn't have to pay full price. Anyway, we started the day with the classic shot by the castle
Then we were off to the flying elephants. Here's a picture of us at the spinning teacups...even though we didn't actually ride this ride! The line was too long and we decided we didn't feel like being spun around...but we got a cute picture :)
And, you can't go to Disneyland without getting mouse ears! Of course Paige picked the ones with sequins and a bow...making her Momma proud!
Good choice Paige - looks petty cute if I do say so!
Here we are in line for It's a Small World and Paige was excited to see what was ahead and good Aunt Kendyl was helping her get the best view possible!
Kendyl and Paige made up some fun games to pass the time while in line for rides Peek-a-boo! WEEEEEE!!!!! Jerm keeps wanting to buy a piano so Paige can learn how to play so here's her first attempt! I think this picture explains itself!
We had sooo much fun and can't wait to go back. Kendyl and I had a birthday dinner - sushi and martinis - and then she met Jerm and some other peeps out in Northpark. I'm glad she got to go out with them because I was totally pooped!

Jennifer visits Cali / Trip to Ojai / Pool Party at PHR

Jennifer arrived!! She was very nice and babysat Paige while I went to get my hair done! Love getting my hair did. That night we hung out at our place with Jennifer and Bihari. Paige was so funny! I tried to teach her how to say Bihari and she would either say "hari" or "ba" and then a few seconds later "hari." She is such a character!!!!!! Here's a super cute pic of Paige and Ba Hari hanging out

Friday we had a play date with Clare and Palmer. Paige was really good with Palmer...not so good with Clare! She's learning how to share and right now everything is "MINE" so we had a few issues with that but she was really good with Palmer...3 months. She would go over and make the "shhhh" sound and rock his car seat. It was really cute! As long as I wasn't holding him she was fine. The second I picked him up, she threw a fit! That seems to be the theme lately. She better get used to it because we want to have another baby!!

Saturday we headed North on the 5 to OJAI! We have so much fun every time we go so I was really excited to go up there. Plus, Jennifer had never been there so I was excited for her to have the Ojai experience. Before getting to Brent and Chloe's house, we stopped by the park for Paige to play where Jerm did when he was a kid! So cute!

We hung out at Brent and Chloe's for a while and then headed to Bret and Leigh's for their baby shower. They are having a little boy!!! So excited for them. PS: Matt and Reyna are having a Boy and a Girl!!!! Anyway, the shower was fun, but we had more fun after the shower at Brent and Chloe's!

We sat outside by a campfire and the boys played the guitar and made up songs while we sang along and drank some beer. Gotta love the Ojai nights!

Sunday we went to lunch with Chloe/Brent and Jennifer/Bihari and then drove back to SD for a pool party at PHR! Their pool is simply amazing and we have such a fun time every time we go. Here's Clare and Paige in their matching swimsuits...so cuteAnd, here we are leaving the pool - Paige had just scarfed down a cupcake...I think she liked it!

Kendyl Moves to San Diego!

That next Wednesday Tootsie arrived to SD. That night I went to dinner with Sara, Sarah and Danielle for my birthday! I love these girls so much and I'm so glad their in my life! We had a great time at dinner...and can't wait to do it again in a few weeks for Sarah and Danielle's birthdays! Kendyl and Wally Pop arrived Thursday afternoon after the long drive from Austin, TEXAS! I'm so so excited Kendyl moved out here! We're going to have so much fun! Thursday night we helped her unpack and Friday we had Paige's 18 month appointment. Dr. Warner had nothing but good things to say about Paige! Well...he did say I created a monster! She came to the appointment with all of her "la-la" on. (aka :: necklaces and bracelets) Fancy Nancy is her favorite book and Paige has been quite inspired. She is the biggest girly girl!! I'm so excited but I know I have a handful to deal with :) We can't leave the house right now without some "la-la." Sunday we went to lunch

and Moondoggies (Paige fit right in)

and then walked around PB

We had a fun weekend with the fam and like I said before - I'm soooo excited Kendyl lives here!!! Now we just need to get Tootsie and Wally Pop out here :)

Blake & Ashley's Wedding

Blake & Ashley's wedding - yeah! Friday night was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner in Temecula. Grammie and Poppie babysat Paige...thank goodness for grandparents! Saturday was the wedding and it was so pretty. It was at South Coast Winery in Temecula. We had so much fun all day. The ceremony was beautiful...perfect weather and an amazing spot to get married. The dinner/reception was super fun too. We were at a table with Andy/Kirsten, Carrie/Tyler, Brent/Chloe and Bihari. We danced and danced and danced. Bihari was taking some video so I'm sure he has some pretty entertaining footage. The best was when Bret and Tyler's dad had a dance off...too funny. Sunday we got back to SD early to hang out with the Paiginator. We spent the day with Grammie, Poppie, Matt and Reyna...fun times!

Trip to Texas for Meredith's Wedding!

Monday we were off to Texas for Meredith's wedding! Paige did great on the flight considering what a busy body she is. I was very proud.

We spent Tuesday with my Nanny and Poppa.

That night I went to Jennifer's apartment and we went to have some drinks. Jennifer is one of my best friends and no matter how long we have been apart it doesn't take long for us to connect. We had a great night catching up and sharing pictures from recent events.

Wednesday we went to my Cousin Aaron's house. We finally got to meet baby Aiden!! He had just turned 3 months and was already rolling over! We visited with his wife Manda, Papa, Billye and Aaron.

Manda is battling cancer right now and is such an inspiration to me. She is staying so positive and fighting so hard it makes me proud. She loves that baby with all of her being! You can see such a special bond between them when they look at each other. Such a special part of their lives and I was glad to share an afternoon with them. That night I went to dinner with Tifani and Nathan in Arlington. Tifani is one of my oldest and dearest friends! We've been friends since first grade! Nathan is a great friend of mine from HS. We had a great time at dinner...it was so good to see them both!

Thursday I was off to Austin early for Meredith's wedding! I met the other bridesmaids and we made the trip Southbound on 35 to the state's capital. Upon arriving in Austin, we made the crucial stop to pick up some BEER!
We pulled up to the Four Seasons and almost didn't get to check-in because we had too much beer for the number of people who was checking in! Totally ridiculous but we worked something out and made our way up to meet Mere Mere! That night we went out to dinner and drinks with all the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

We had a really fun night full of drinks, dancing and solving some of the world's problems...until 4:30 in the morning!! Yes, that wasn't a typo...we went to bed at 4:30am!!

We awoke early to make our mani/pedi appointment. We went to lunch after a little pampering and all made Mere's parents proud by rolling up to the Four Season's in the bed of Chris' truck!
I snuck in a quick nap before the rehearsal...thank goodness because I was totally exhausted. I can't hang like I used to! We rehearsed Plan A for an outside ceremony and Plan B for an inside ceremony. Good thing we rehearsed both because it poured rain on her wedding day and it ended up being inside! Bummer but Mere took the news like a champ. Take a look at her rehearsal bouquet!! That's by far the biggest one I've ever seen!

Anyway, back to the rehearsal night...after the rehearsal we went to dinner. Yummy!

We had a great dinner followed by live music, amazing Best Man/Maid of Honor speeches and a fun slideshow! I cried like a baby!! Well really laugh/cried :) They showed baby pictures and that made me cry because it reminded me of Paige!

Wedding Day!!! We spent the day getting our hair and makeup done...loved every minute! The wedding was beautiful. Mere and Eric are such a perfect fit and are so cute together. They even wrote their own vows!! The reception was lots of fun...full of dancing, drinking and catching up with old friends. I love weddings!!

Sunday we were back to Tootsie and Wally Pop's earlier than I planned...Jerm missed Paige too much! I'm glad we came back early because we had such a fun night. Gotta love the Hardin Hacienda!

Monday Jerm flew back to SD early and my Mom, Paige and I spent the day celebrating...my BIRTHDAY! Yup, number 28! We had so much fun shopping and spending time together. Thanks Mom for all the great clothes! It's a rare occasion for me to shop for myself so I took full advantage of Tootsie's help...and wallet! Ha! That night I met Parker, Schroeder, Jennifer and Lisa at Joe T Garcia's...yummy!

Good food and great swirls!! We had a really good time catching up. Love girl's night out!! Tuesday we arrived back in SD. Jerm picked us up and had a bouquet of roses for me! How sweet :)

Sarah/Keenan's Wedding & Mother's Day

The next Saturday we had 2 birthday parties and a wedding...all in the same day! We went to Sienna's birthday party first and had a great time seeing all our friends...we didn't want to leave! Just a quick side note - Kim is Sienna's Mom and she is due at the end of May with baby Oliver. She looked amazing and being super pregnant didn't slow her down a bit! She's a true inspiration! Anyway, after Sienna's party, Jerm took Paige next door for Athu's birthday. He is turning 6 and is always so nice to Paige. Teresa came over about this time and hung out with me while I got ready for the wedding. Jerm and I left for the wedding and Teresa watched Paige. Teresa is such a great friend of mine and I know Paige always has a good time when she baby sits! Congrats to Keenan and Sarah! We had a great time at the wedding and went away with this great picture!
And, here's a pic of twin sisters pregnant!! Reyna is due in November with twins and Renee is due in October Sunday was Mothers Day! For those of you who don't know...Jerm forgot Mother's Day last year! We went to his Mom's house and after people started to give me cards, Jerm looked at me and goes "Oh yeah, you're a Mom too!” He wrote me a poem from Paige that made me cry so I let him off the hook. This year he was sure to remember! He pulled through with flying colors. We had a great day! He got me the David Yurman necklace I've been wanting, a new Blackberry (I dropped mine in Paige's bath...oops), and he painted a candy bowl with Paige! Couldn't ask for more! We had a great time spending the day together.

Arizona Trip with the Stallings

The next day we were off early to LAX to catch our flight to Flagstaff, AZ for a week's vacation with the Stallings Family. We felt a little famous with the way our flight boarded...Our trip was initially planned for Hawaii but after everyone saw the flight prices, we opted to go somewhere else and Arizona is where we ended up! Todd (now named Poppie), Clela (still working on her name but it's Grammie for now), Reyna and Matt all met in Flagstaff, AZ. We spent the week relaxing and took a day trip to the Grand Canyon and another day trip to Sedona. If you don't believe in God, I think you will after seeing these places in person! They are truly amazing and worth the trip there.

We had a fun time hanging with the fam and watching Reyna's belly grow before our eyes! For those of you who don't know, Reyna is pregnant...with TWINS! We are so so excited for her and Matt and are enjoying sharing this experience with her. She was 14/15 weeks while we were there and is trucking right along. She is an identical twin and her twin, Renee, is pregnant too! She is having a little girl - due October 10. Reyna is due November 9 but probably won't make it full term so they might have their babies on the same day! Probably won't happen on the same day...but it could! Anyway, back to Arizona...we had a great time and enjoyed the week of relaxation. Paige is such a character and kept us all entertained! Here she is hanging with her crazy Dad. This picture was in Sedona and Grammie Clela told us it was going to be low 70's...and it was 90 degrees!! So, we bought Paige the cheesiest outfit we could find. Here's her and her Dad diggin for some gold :)
One afternoon we took a little adventure with just us 3 and had such a fun time exploring!
Here's a pic of of our treat after the adventure
She is talking so much and more of her true character shines through each day. I know everyone had fun spending time with her and she loved all the attention! Here's one more pic of her reading up on what all Arizona has to offer
