BBQ with Johan and family

At one point Jeromy lived with 3 Johans! Pretty unbelievable, but it's true. One of the Johan's contacted Jerm to let him know he and his family would be visiting from Sweden and wanted to get together for dinner. We had them over last night and had a great time. Their little girl, Siri is just a few months younger than Paige so they got along great. Well, I think Paige scared her in the beginning because Siri is a very sweet, quiet girl and we all know Paige is a wild child! JK, she has her sweet moments but compared to Siri, she was a wild child. We had a great dinner outside and then let the kiddos watch a little Thomas the Train. That lasted about 5 seconds, but hey, we tried. We shared with them that we are pregnant! I don't think it has really hit Jeromy yet (or me for that matter) because he tried to pass me the wine tonight and I had to remind him that you don't drink wine when you are pregnant!! He was super sweet and lovey when they left and got all excited we are pregnant again. We are both so excited!

Babysitting Ava and Ethan

We watched Ava and Ethan this morning and boy was a busy morning! Jeromy was so funny...I think he was really excited they were coming over and he could play with them all. We started the morning watching a little Barbie Nutcracker Then we headed outside for a little painting, chalk and bubble time Next we headed upstairs for a little dress-up (Ava and Paige's favorite) Then Jeromy led the "Paige Parade". He does this with her in the morning sometimes and she loves it. They just march and sing "The Paige parade, the Paige parade" and then he usually makes up some words. Then we had a costume change for Paige (she only had a diaper on under the apron) Then we played with babies (Paige and her baby had on matching dresses...an Ava hand-me-down...thanks Ava :)) and decided they were all tired so put them down for a nap Phew, what a busy morning!

Siena and Paige's playdate

Siena (aka CiCi) is one of Paige's best friends. We try to have a playdate every Wednesday morning. This morning we went to story time at the library by Kim's house. They read the kiddo's a book, sing songs, and then color. Paige and Siena have so much fun! After story time we went back to Kim's for lunch. Siena got Paige a gift! The cutest fairy princess wings!! Paige absolutely loves them and they both have a pair so it was so cute when they both had them on. Fancy Nancy wears them so Paige loves them :) Thank you Siena!

Coronado Summer Concert

One of my favorite things to do in the Summer is go to the Summer concerts. They have them all over San Diego and are so much fun! We went to Coronado tonight for the first one with Kelly, Dan, Doug and Kendyl. We had a great time drinking wine, eating pizza and listening to the music. Here's a pic...Paige is such a ham...look at those magumba lips! I don't know where she gets it :)

Fourth of July!

We usually spend July 4th in Texas but didn't this year because my parents were supposed to be taking a trip with friends to Colorado. They ended up not going so they were bummed we weren't there...but we'll be there next year! We put Paige in her July 4th outfit (can't wait for next year's outfit...yes, I've already bought it...it's a red, white and blue tutu with a matching shirt that says something like 4th of July cutie...so cute!) and headed to the pool. We didn't get there until almost 11:30 and had to leave around 1:30 for Paige's nap. Here's Jerm giving Paige her first surfing lesson We had a great time and wish we could have stayed a little longer...dang babies naps always get in the way! After her nap we went to Jonna's house for a little BBQ. This is Paige in her 4th of July dress and Mickey and Minnie. Her Nanny (my Dad's Mom) gave her the necklace, bow and Mickey and Minnie so we had to get a pic. This was the first time Paige sat still for me to take a picture and said "cheese" if you can't tell by her face! Jerm decided we should take the jeep (his favorite thing to do on the weekend) and here's a pic of Paige and her stink face on the way to Jonna's! I don't know if it was the sun in her eyes or what but P-U! Paige is their daughter's name too so her daughter is known as Little Paige and our Paige is known as Baby Paige. So, Baby and Little Paige played dress up and then Jerm threw her on the scooter and had Austin chase him with a popper toy. After all that running around, Paige decided it was time for some watermelon. We had a great time. Thanks Jonna for hosting!

Beach Day

Kim invited us to join her at the beach and I'm so glad we did! I was just planning on me and Paige going, but Jerm took the day off so we had a family beach day. We've never done that believe it or not. We usually just go for an hour or so and Jerm surfs and I walk/run and play with Paige at the park. We met at Del Mar beach...the best beach because there is a big grassy hill so you can be at the beach but not have to mess with the sand! We set up camp on the grass and met them there around 10am. Kim has a 2 year old, Siena, and a 6 week old, Oliver. Yes, I said 6 weeks! She looks amazing and Ollie is such a trooper. Here's a cute pic of Paige saying hi and smiling to Oliver...so sweet We played on the grass, at the park and took the girls down to the beach to play in the sand for a while. Siena loved playing in the water! She kept going deeper with Kim and didn't want to get out. Paige was very courageous in the beginning and then when the waves came she wasn't quite so brave! While we were down by the water with the girls, Jeromy ran up to the market to get some beers for the boys. We ate lunch and then walked around for about half an hour with the girls in the stroller and they both fell asleep! They were pretending they were going to sleep in the tent...so sneaky We were so lucky! I couldn't tell you the last time Paige fell asleep in the stroller...well, other than Disneyland. Anyway, the girls slept for about an hour and during that hour, we sent Jeromy back to the market to get us some wine! We ended up hanging out until 5pm...that's 7 hours at the beach! She's learning how to share...slowly...and when she doesn't get her way, she hits. But, today she didn't hit once! Yeah, maybe we're moving past this phase!! She was also really sweet to Ollie. She wanted to touch him and play with his hat and was super smiley when she was playing with him. She seems to love babies as long as I'm not holding them! We had such a fun day and I'm glad we got to the beach on Friday because I know it had to be super packed on Saturday and Sunday. I love the beach!

Happy Birthday to Sarah and Danielle!

Last night we went to sushi for Sarah and Danielle's birthday. We started this tradition last year and the four of us (Sara, Sarah, Danielle and me) take each other to dinner for our birthday's. Sarah and Danielle's birthday's are a week apart so we combined them. We had the whole patio to ourselves, a great view of the ocean and perfect weather. We didn't take any pictures (oops) but I thought I'd write about it anyway because it was so fun! Danielle brought Maddie and she is such a cutie. She is giving me a major baby itch!
