Happy Halloween!

Halloween is so fun! Paige has been talking about it forever and was so excited that the day was finally here! We started the day making pancakes. Paige asked me to make her the letter "P" and then we got a little crazy and spelled some names!
We spelled "Tootsie", "Grammy", and "Nanny"...all the grandma's who know how to text...and sent them a Happy Halloween text.
That night Ava/Ethan, Zoey/Hayden and Aunt Kendyl came over. I was going to make Carrie's lasagna but Nicole made it the previous night so I opted to just order pizza! Maybe next year I'll make it. Anyway, here's a group shot of all the kiddos.
Paige wanted to be a Dorothy cheerleader

Jeromy and I went to try and put together a tin man costume. I didn't think we were going to dress up for Halloween even though Paige had planned our costumes months ago. So, Kendyl got grey pants and a funnel for the hat and we got a grey shirt and silver face paint. After it was all said and done, Jeromy didn't feel like getting dressed up so this is as far as he got!
Future Prom King and Queen! I LOVE these pictures of Paige...she actually smiled!

He did put the hat on for a minute but he ended up just going in his clothes. Ladies, this man is taken so don't get any big ideas!
Trick-or-Treat!

Hey Mom, where ya goin with all that candy?

Pumpkin Carving at the Elleraas'

Saturday night we went to Nicole and Chris' house for our annual pumpkin carving night! This year Danielle/Pat and Lisa/Ben joined us. SO much fun!!

Lisa and little Tyler Bug
Ava and Paige in their matching shirts. We woke Paige up from her nap...she took a little while to warm up!
Guess who brought Tyler over?
Getting it all ready to carve

Nicole and Danielle are Duck fans so we were watching the game and their girls put their uniforms so we ran home and got Paige's (notice this is outfit #3 and we'd been there about an hour!)

Family Pic with our pumpkins! Jeromy did the jack-o-lantern and I did the glass slipper
All the kiddos!

Maddie LOVES Tyler and always kisses him. (so sweet) Danielle was trying to get a picture but couldn't get a good one! You get the idea ;)

Little Betty Crocker

What a spoiled little girl! Grammy and Pappy got Paige a kitchen for her birthday! Barbie Dreamhouse and a kitchen?! Her birthday isn't for another 2 weeks but it came early so we put it together for her. I was going to have her be "good" for 5 days or something but Jeromy wasn't aware of my plan and offered to put it together Saturday so there was no turning back! That morning Jeromy took the kids for bagels so he and Paige picked out her outfit. She is such a sassy little thing lately! I don't even know where she gets most of her moves and poses lately! Here's one of them...
We gave her an early present too...cupcakes! They are so cute. They are wooden and the tops are velcro so you can switch the icing. She had so much fun playing.
Jeromy and his little helper - he is so precious! He melts my heart...

Dorothy & The Lion

Last Thursday the kids wore their costumes to Stroller Strides, music class and dance class. Phew, what a day! I'm looking at a few different studios so we went today to watch another class after music class. I really like the class but I don't know if I can pull off 3 activities back to back! I think with one kid it would be okay but with two it's a little overwhelming! We'll see...

Anyway, I took some quick pics before we left the house. Anytime someone would ask Paige what Tyler was going to be she would say "the cute little lion"...so cute. It was over 80 degrees so Tyler's costume didn't last long! Halloween is so fun!!

Out with the old and in with the new

Friday afternoon Jeromy called saying the silver Jeep was smoking! He pulled over to a service station but no one was there so I packed the kids up to go get him. By the time we got there, he had already decided to head to the dealership! I didn't know if the Jeep could make it but he wanted to try it. We made it! A few hours later he drove a new black Jeep home! We had to go back the next day to give them the pink slip for the silver Jeep and he let me drive the new one home. I LOVE IT! Too bad I still have 2 of the messiest kids and a new car isn't in my near future. Jeromy and I really like Jeeps and he's had his eye on the 2011 so it worked out perfect! He's had 4 Jeep's, we currently have his Grandparents 1976 CJ7, I've had 2 Jeep's and my Mom had 2 Jeep's while we were growing up! Okay, maybe that's more info than you all wanted...but there ya go! We love it!!

Preschool Halloween Party

What a fun, fun morning!! Last Friday Paige's preschool had a costume parade and party and the parents could hang out for it all. I really love her preschool and had a blast hanging out! I was so proud of her.

Here she is in the circle singing their hello song next to Snow White...aka Clara!
Miss Kimberly singing songs with the class (she's my favorite and I think she's Paige's too!)
And guess who lead the class on the parade??
They walked up to the chapel and sang songs with the music teacher.
Paige took a quick break from singing and showed Kaleigh her red sparkle shoes. A girl can only focus so long!
The Blue Room Class! Paige was holding her skirt like she was curtseying...what a girly girl
Miss Nicole was trying to get them to smile and asked the class who wanted candy and Paige threw her arms up in the air and said "I DO!"
Everyone changed clothes and started doing some crafts
Aurelia (Clara's Momma) helping the girls
Having some snacks
Tyler was having fun too ;)

So it begins

That's right...we got rolled last week! Jeromy got home from work around 7:30 and found our house looking like this! We started investigating and I sent Nicole a text asking where she was at approximately 6:30 and within 5 minutes they were knocking on our door laughing! Chris and his kids did it!!!! Our neighborhood started "booing" each other. A neighbor puts a sheet of paper saying "You've been Boo'd!" on your front door and leaves a little treat on your front porch. Chris saw the sheet on our front door and was upset that we hadn't boo'd them yet so he rolled us! Ha! They helped us clean it up and we all got some good laughs. I love our neighborhood!
