Visit with Papa and MeMaw

We spent one afternoon with Papa and MeMaw. Fun times! We hadn't been there long before Papa brought out Tyler's present.

Papa and Tyler were buddies right away. Might have had something to do with the sugar cookies Papa was feeding him...

Then he outsmarted me and started looking up to knock the hat off!

After hanging for a while we went to lunch. My Papa is King of cafeteria style restaurants...Furr's and Luby's are his all time favorite. The menu consists of fried okra, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and of course the dinner rolls. They have a few other options than these but you get the idea. So, we headed to the closest one like that. What an experience :)

He also got Tyler a pair of Wrangler jeans, and a George Strait cowboy shirt to go along with his hat. I can't wait until he's big enough to wear them...

We're back!

Back to Texas! Tyler and I made a surprise visit to Texas so that I could go to Jennifer's wedding celebration. My parents were the only people who knew we were coming in town and it was so fun to surprise my friends! The first night we went to one of my parents favorite spots to eat as soon as we landed.

Cousin Fun

We went to Matt and Reyna's the other weekend for pizza and the kids had to much fun playing. They got a new table and the kids spent most of the night playing with it.

These pictures were taken right before Tyler fell and hit the corner of the coffee table...black eye number one...I'm sure with this kid there are more to come :(

Dance Party!

Oh my goodness...talk about the cutest birthday party ever...Maddie's 2nd birthday party! I'm a little jealous I didn't think of this idea first. Danielle made all the girls (and a few cooperating boys) pink and purple tutu's and had her party at her dance studio!! I was in heaven...so much fun I asked Danielle if she could make extra large tutu's for all us to celebrate my 30th!!
