Hardin Phar-tay!

Kendyl and Paul came over to join us for a fun day at my parents pool! 

Jeromy pushed the kids so they could race in their "podracers" 

Another fun day!

Saturday we spent the morning at my Nanny and Poppa's house!  We walked to the park as soon as we got there to try and beat the heat!

We mentioned it was getting a little hot and we should walk home and Tyler ran to the wagon! I think he was ready to go too!

Nanny always has Blue Bell ice cream for Paigey and Tyler!

The player piano is always a hit.  Poppa played some Christmas tunes this time

They have always had an old gun on the wall for decoration and Tyler and Paigey wanted to check it out

That night I met my OU gals and their hubbies for dinner in Dallas.  Such a fun time - just wish we had more time together!!

 

First Day of Fun!

Our first day was packed with fun!  We started the day at Nana's house

My Mom mowed her lawn while we were there and Paige helped her clean up :)

My Nana laid out a few porcelain dolls to let Paige pick one to take home.  We walked in the room to look at them and found Tyler like this!  Ha!

After Nana's we met up with Wally Pop and we all went to the movies to see BRAVE!  Loved it :)

I can't even believe I fit everything in one day but after the movies when the kids were napping, I went and got a mani/pedi and a hair cut!  Got home just in time to change clothes and head out to Grapevine to meet my high school friends!  Phew, what a busy and fun day!  

We're off to Texas!

This was our first flight where Tyler had his own seat and we actually had fun!  The kids were great :)

Best Buddies

We stayed home a lot this week so I could organize everything from the swap meet that we didn't sell and to pack up for our 11 day trip to Texas! The kids had fun playing with each other. They are both at such a fun age and I love to see and hear them playing and laughing!

They were upstairs playing and Tyler came down like this...ha!








And big sis came along right after



Tyler loves Paige's bed and they always ask if they can sleep together.











The sprinklers came on while they were playing so Paige went and got some umbrellas



Paige has the squigie (sp?) Snow White set and used them on morning to tell Tyler the story of Snow White...so cute!







Oh, and did I mention our one purchase from the swap meet?? The kids LOVE playing with this just sitting in the garage! We were in the backyard one day and I didn't see Tyler and found him playing in the car in our mostly dark garage!!



Tyler emptied his drawers to help me pack...thanks a lot!
