Birthday Party Saturday!

We started the day at Maddie and Palmer's birthday. They were born on the same day! I can't believe they have turned one...seriously! Time flies!!! Anyway, they had a jumpy house and Paige had a blast. She hasn't been too into them before but loves them now.
Jeromy and Dave were messing with Paige and Carson trying to have them take their eyes off the cake. The kids both had their eyes locked on the prize!
Yahoo - cake time!
Here's the cute birthday girl with Danielle's Mom in the jumpy house. I didn't get a picture of Palmer but he looked pretty cute too :)
It's a Clare sandwich!
It's Party Time! It was raining that morning so she had to wear her rain boots...ha!
We headed to Troy's house after the park. We didn't stay long - we actually didn't even plan to go but figured we stop by for a minute to say happy birthday and drop off his gift. Paige was only there a short time but hopped right in the middle of the activity table and played with all the kids!

Ava's 4th Birthday Party!

Ava turned 4 on February 15! I can't believe she is 4 years old! She had her birthday party at Playwerx...so much fun! I'm not sure if Paige or Jeromy had more fun!

Paige & Ethan chowing down on some bagels
Weeeeee!!!
Happy Birthday to you!
Well, hello there Dad!
Yummy :)
Jeromy ran around with Paige the whole time and decided to take a little break while the kids were playing in the balls. What a trooper.
Paige was hanging with the big girls (when she wasn't with Jeromy). It's so fun to watch her interact with older kids. She has so much fun! Here they are playing Ring Around the Rosey
Jeromy came out of the structure sweating like a pig! He is going to be so sore tomorrow! After the party, we got some lunch and came home for Paige's nap. Jeromy went with Chris and Ava's cousins to race go-karts but ended up going bowling. Then he played an hour of soccer with their cousins (8 and 10 years old) and then rode his skateboard around playing with them. Talk about Jeromy's dream day! He's going to have so much fun with a son :)

Happy Birthday Sara!

Last night we went to Sbicca to celebrate Sara's birthday! Probably my last hoo-rah before Tyler is here:) We had so much fun! I always have such a great time with these girls and I'm so thankful they are in my life. Thank God for good girlfriends! Here's Sara blowing out her candle. You can't tell from this picture but the ocean is behind her. Gotta love San Diego!

Dance Class

We didn't go to dance class last week because we were sick and I wondered if Paige would even notice. She did! She woke up from her nap one day and the first thing she said was "Mom, I want to go to dance class!" And, she was doing stuff she learned at class around the house...tapping her toes, walking around on her tippy toes with her arms over her head and she even set up part of the obstacle course they do in class! The last part of the course, the teacher lays an exercise band straight on the floor and the girls run and jump over it. Paige recreated that idea using her Fancy Nancy phone! She took the phone off the base and pulled the cord straight and was running and jumping over it. What a clever little girl :)

Today at dance class Paige wore tap shoes for the first time! She had so much fun. Her favorite part was stomping.
Choo-choo!
The big bellied girl in the yellow shirt is me :)
Dancing on the princess bar
Popping bubbles with her friends
Getting her stamp at the end of class from Miss Ginger
I'm so happy she loves to dance! Last night she went up to Jerm and said "Wanna hold my hand?" So he of course said yes and she drug him into the family room and said "Wanna dance with me?" So they held hands and did their Sleeping Beauty routine. Also, she has been trying some new moves after watching the Olympics. We've been watching figure skating so she keeps spinning like they do. She is so fun right now :)

Baby...I mean Little Paigey

The other day I watched Paige and the twins for a few hours...the twins slept the whole time so don't get too impressed!...and we had Hayden in the swing. Paige was eating dinner and decided she wanted to hop in to give it a ride. Jeromy conveniently brought her dinner to her in the swing so she was all set! Looks pretty comfy to me! And, if you're wondering what in the world she has on, it's a lovely Disney princess outfit (compliments of Tootsie) under her new green dress. We were at Marshalls and she loved this dress (and so did I) and I thought I'd be perfect for St. Patrick's Day coming up!
She's such a big girl now! Look at her when she was about 2 months old in the swing
And, here's one when she is 4 months old. Jeromy loves this picture - he says she looks like a rocker chick

Fancy Nancy Tea

This morning we went to Childish Couture for a Valentines Day Tea! The tables were set up so cute and it was all catered towards the little girls. Here's Ava and Paige posing for a quick pic. Paige has started doing a fake smile and saying "cheese" when I ask her to smile. I guess it's better than a straight face or her not looking at the camera!
Ava, Paigey and Paige doing a little Valentines Day craft. The boutique provided feather boas, pearl necklaces and fancy hats for all the girls...too cute!
Listening to a little presentation on manners
Enough of all that...let's eat!
Happy little lady after the cupcake
Hard at work making a Valentines Day card for Daddy. Do you see how she holds her marker? I wonder if she'll end up writing like this...

We had so much fun and the boutique had a great sale - 75% off select merchandise! I got 6 things for Baby Tyler and they ended up being about $10 each! I got 4 button up shirts that look like something Jeromy would wear - super hip - and 2 jackets. I got them in size 2T and 4T! Totally ridiculous and even the other Mom's in line were laughing that I was buying 4T clothes for my unborn child...but they are so cute and such a great price...who could resist?!

Pics from Poppa

Every once in a while my Dad's dad, aka Poppa, will send me old pictures of him and/or Nanny. Here's one from 1953 in Atlanta - my Nanny was a manicurist. Isn't she beautiful?! Hard to believe this picture is real...
