Taking the bottle like a champ!

The moon is out tonight!!

Tonight we went to a sushi dinner (omg, so delicious...haven't had "real" sushi since I was pregnant except the one night Kendyl brought it over) and then went to Del Mar beach. I nursed Tyler in the car while Jerm (quick pic of the little Tyler Bug while we were in the car)and Paige played on the park and beach. Here's what I found while making my way to the park...Paige and Jeromy!
Then Jeromy turned around to look at the waves and I was MOONED! Poor little Paige's hiney bow was hanging out - haha!!!

Zoo trip & Balboa Park

Last weekend we tried to go to the zoo...but changed our minds when we saw how many millions of people were there! I don't think it's quite time for Mr. T-bone to be around that many people so I took Paige around there for an hour and Jerm sat in the car and did some work while Tyler slept. Matt and Reyna met us for lunch in Balboa Park and then J and P went on a train ride while me and Reyna were feeding our babies! How fun that we have kids so close in age!!
Reyna hadn't held Tyler before! I'm not sure how that happened but this was her first time holding him...4 weeks old :) And, her little munchkins are on the blanket below. 6 months old...wow, time flies!

Jeromy's newest obsession!

Is it possible that anything that could take his obsession off golf?...Enter the piano :) Last Friday afternoon Jeromy bought a piano and it was delivered Saturday morning. Jerm has wanted a piano for the house for a while now and he has one! It takes a lot for Jeromy to admit when he's stoked about something and this was definitely one of those things. No one in the house plays piano but he wanted his kids to grow up around one. He is really good at the guitar so I think that helped him learning the piano. The little stinker learned a whole Coldplay song in just a few days...he is so talented! He has been playing the piano every free moment he has at home and it has become something me and Paige are a little jealous of! She is so attached to him right now and throws a fit when he is not totally focused on her. He's been giving her all his attention when he gets home from work so now she expects it all the time. It's nice that she likes him, but give me a break lady! Welcome to the Terrible Two's :) Here's a quick shot of a little morning jam session with Jerm and Paige

Little Tyler Kisses

So, since I don't spend enough time blogging as it is...Jeromy got a flip and has been really good about uploading them so I can add them to my blog. So, here's the first one! This was last night while we were watching our wedding video (Jeromy's favorite thing to do, yeah right!). Our 5 year anniversary is Friday! Oh, and wanted to mention that Tyler does usually have a diaper on and is fully clothed...Paige was just being cute when I was in the middle of a diaper change so we went with it :)

Dorthy Hair

Tyler rolled over!!! I know it's totally unbelievable and I think it was just a fluke thing but he rolled over today! He was doing a little tummy time and rolled from his tummy to his back...3 weeks old! Paige thought his activity mat was so cool and wanted to lay on it with him. Look at how big she looks compared to him! Crazy that she was once that small...
This is later that night. Dad with his TWO kids! Oh, and yes, our daughter has a black eye :( She doesn't "jump" on the couch (this is her little trick that I actually let her do) but she stands on the couch and hops down to sit. Well she did this on Easter morning and bounced off and hit her cheek bone on the coffee table. Poor thing. She honestly didn't even make that big of a deal out of it but her poor eye looks horrible!
We watched The Wizard of Oz that night so I did Paige's hair like Dorthy and she loved it!

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter! We are so thankful for the blessed life we lead. We feel so fortunate to have such great family and friends, live in such an amazing place, have the freedom to spend time with each other and the luxury for me to stay home with the kids. I honestly feel so blessed!

We're ready for a fun Easter Day!

We went to La Costa with Courtney and family. Wow, what a beautiful place! I had never been there. They had an egg hunt...that we sort of missed because I was running behind (oops!) and a super yummy brunch. It was an absolutely perfect Spring day and we had a really fun time spending it with friends.

Paige with Pressly Rose...her new best friend!
I did make it in time to get a quick pic with the Easter Bunny!
Hmmm...Pressly Rose...how do I describe her?!? She is Miss Person-al-ity!!...they were 2 peas in a pod! Here's a quick story to give you an idea of exactly who Pressly is - Courtney took her on a quick trip to Target to pick out a bow for her Easter outfit (she's from Texas too so she agrees with me that a bow is a necessity) and Pressly ran off when they got in the store. Courtney found her down at the end of an isle and she had on a hat, scarf, sunglasses...totally decked out with anything she could grab quick enough from the accessories department...and when she saw Courtney she struck a pose and said "what's up sugga Momma"...ha! Can you imagine trying to discipline your child when she pulls a trick like that?! So Courtney did her best trying not to completely crack up as she's getting on to her and they end up in the hair accessory isle. Pressly proceeds to point to each of the bows and says "that one's ugly, that one's ugly, that one's ugly...I like that one." Courtney tells her it's not her decision and to keep her mouth shut so Pressly grabs a brush and holds it like a microphone and says "Hello. My name is Pressly Rose and my Mom has a bad attitude." Seriously??!! What a handful and she's only 5 years old!

Anyway, Pressly was super sweet and acted like a big sis to Paige. She's actually going to be a big sis in July to baby Ruby! Paige and Pressly didn't leave each other's side the whole day and had tons of fun playing.

Sharing a plate of mac 'n cheese...which thank the Lord they had because that's the only guaranteed thing Paige will eat
When we got home from La Costa, we put Paige down for a nap and Jerm and I were with Tyler in our room when the house started to shake and we quickly realized we were having an earthquake! There was a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Baja California and it shook our house for a good 20 seconds. It was super scary. I felt so helpless and wasn't quite sure what to do hoping that it went away quick and didn't get worse. I held Tyler tight and Jeromy went in and got Paige out of bed. Momma and Poppa bear instincts kicked in quick! Nothing fell off the dresser but the sliding glass doors in our guest shower were shaking pretty loud. Jeromy literally left the house 10 minutes later to get an earthquake kit and was unsuccessful in finding one...so he created one! He and Derek are going to market it soon. My little entrepreneur ;) Anyway, it was definitely an eye opener.

Since we missed the egg hunt at La Costa, the Easter Bunny visited during Paige's nap so she got to hunt some eggs when she woke up ;)
An egg, an egg! Notice how nice our backyard looks. That is grass...not sure when the last time Jeromy mowed...looks like the day we moved in, 2 years ago!! Thankfully, it's not all that high. There's one corner that grows like crazy.
Yahoo!
Beth and Chase stopped by for a minute to meet Tyler. I remembered to take a picture!!!
And Mark came over for dinner. Paige was quick to recruit him to her playroom. Look at her little toes on the easel...what a monkey!
We had a great Easter and it was so nice to just kinda go with the flow :)
