Tyler would not let go of his tractor the other day. He is such a BOY!

Yehaw Cowboy!

Tell me that isn't the cutest little cowboy you've ever seen?! Tyler loves his cowboy hat all the sudden. Maybe a cowboy for Halloween??

Summer Fun

Here's a few pics since everyone is now healthy and we're back to our fun life!

Happy 4th Birthday Clare! She is Paige's bff and her Mom threw her a super fun birthday this past Wednesday. Jumpy houses, crafts, pizza, cupcakes and a pinata...what else could a kid want?! Oh, and did I mention that she had it at her house and has a 5 week old?! Super Mom!

Paige doing a little light reading

We watched our neighbor Cadence the other day and they had such fun with a cardboard box...who knew!

Jeromy has made some major progress on the sandbox. He is hoping to finish phase one this weekend.

I think every kid in our neighborhood was in our backyard at some point or another yesterday. Paige loves playing sword fights with the boys and was trting to get them to play Sleeping Beauty. They didn't think that was a good plan but Paige got into character anyway...layed down...closed her eyes and said "somebody should kiss me!" That's when Dad stepped in and suggested they play another game :)

This morning we went to PB for a beach clean up with Jeromy's company, Ninthlink. It was fun to go to another beach. Interesting...but fun ;)

Earning her keep

The other morning - before she was sick - I came downstairs to find this! She got one of the chairs from her playroom and did this all by herself! Jeromy was down there with her but on his computer so he wasn't really paying attention. Not what I expected to see! Now if she was only tall enough for the vacuum...

one more post and then I'm signing off...

First, I had no idea how far behind I was and the only unfortunate reason I've had the time in the past few days to catch up is that both of my kids have hand/foot/mouth. It is absolutely the most miserable, horrible and painful thing I've ever had to go through as a Mom. Paige has been crying for the better part of today and yesterday...can't sleep and will wake up crying in pain...and can't eat because the sores in her mouth hurt too bad. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! She got her first sore Tuesday night and Tyler woke up this morning with sores in his mouth so I haven't seen the worst of it for him. At least Paige can understand what's going on...I can't even imagine how it's going to go with Tyler. The doctor said days 4 and 5 are usually the worst. Oh, and the icing on this whole experience is that Jeromy is in Canada until Monday! So, we're home bound for a while and it's so hard because the weather is so beautiful! At least we have our backyard to play in. And, my amazing neighbor Anne Marie brought us frozen yogurt last night, Jamba Juice and more Advil today and just texted and said her 5 year old daughter thought Paige might like to eat marshmallows because they are so soft. How sweet is their family?! Anyway, just thought I'd mention that ;) So, if you read this, say some prayers for this sick Stallings family to get well SOON!

Before the recital...

Oh my goodness...I swear we took 500 the day of Paige's recital! This entire post are pictures before the recital...then I have a post of the actual recital...then I have one of what Tyler was doing during the recital...and I have one for after the recital. Phew, that was a busy day!!

Trying on Paige's new shorts from Grammie...love that mischievous little grin :)

This would have been so cute if Tyler was in the right mood!
That morning Jerm and his Dad tore up a bunch of cactus plants and a cactus tree that was in our backyard. Jeromy is going to make it into a sand play area. They had SO much fun playing in the mud! Oh, and the kids had fun too :)

and during the recital...

Here's what little Tyler Bug was up to! Jeromy took lots of pictures of him. We haven't been so good about taking pictures of him! There are a lot of pictures in this post and most of them look the same but I'm planning to print this blog as our scrapbook and couldn't widdle it down anymore so sorry for the duplicate looking photos :)

Wearing his new backpack from Tootsie...looks like such a big boy!!

this isn't the greatest picture, but if you look close, you can see the drool flying out of his mouth. EWWW!!

Oh how I wish this one wasn't blurry!
