More Pool Time in Texas

Here are the few final pics from our Texas trip!

P and T all geared up in their new goggles...ha!

The last Saturday we were there we went to Schroeder's Mom's house for a pool party to celebrate Jennifer's birthday!  My Mom and the kids stayed until nap time and I got to stay a little longer kid free!  Tyler fell asleep on the way home with my Mom and was freaking out when he woke up because I wasn't there :) This kid is an official MOMMA'S BOY!  He wouldn't let anyone else put him down for naps or bedtime and was particular about things like who unbuckled his car seat.  What a little stinker!  I love that he loves me so much but it would be nice to get a little break when it's not convenient for me to put him down!

But, who could say no to that precious face?  Even when it comes in your room at 5:45-6am EVERYDAY!!

Ft. Worth Zoo

The kids had a blast at the zoo!  It was a hot day but there were lots of stops in air conditioning and lots of shady trees to walk under so we all had a fun time :)

making a fish face :)

Dippin Dots to cool off!

July FOURTH!!

Started the day off right with donuts for breakfast!

Princess Leia :)

My Nana and Nanny & Poppa stopped by for a while to play with the kids and visit

This also might be her Christmas card...pretend you didn't see it here first!

Paul, Kendyl and the kiddos baked an apple pie and a berry/peach pie from scratch!  This is Paul's speciality and he was so sweet to include the kids in the fun

Hawaiian Falls and July 4th Street Fair!

We met Landry at Sara at Hawaiian Falls and had a BLAST!  Paige was scared again of most of the rides but we had fun doing everything else!

That night we went to Downtown Arlington for the July 4th Street Fair.  My Dad's store is in Downtown Arlington so we parked there and walked across the street to the fair.

TONS of fun stuff for the kiddos and a concert that started at 9.  Pony rides, face painting, food, beer, all the good stuff.  We planned to do all the fun kid stuff and my parents were going to take the kids home to bed and me and Jerm were going to stay for the concert.  Sarah and Chess and kiddos were meeting us there and it was going to be a great night!  But, the crowd was HUGE, the lines were super long, it was super hot and we wimped out and left after the pony rides...the one and only thing we did while there!

We did get a pic that my Mom is probably going to use for her Christmas card so don't mention to her that you saw it on my blog first if you get this picture in December!!

We hung at my Dad's store for a minute before going home.  Jerm got the kids "light sabers" so we all had fun watching them run around and battle

and they had fun watching themselves!!
