Back to Canyon Lakes we go!
Today we went waterskiing at Canyon Lakes with Nicole and her family. Poor pregnant me didn't get to ski or drink the cold beverage of my choice...but I still had a great time! We got there and rode around on the pontoon boat while eating lunch and took a dip. The water felt soo good and it was nice to relax! Next we were off to do some skiing. This was about the time that my body completely shuts down (usually from 2-4 daily) so I took a quick nap under a tree. Everyone got to ski and Jeromy wakeboarded. What a wild child! He got up and within seconds he was jumping and flipping and was all over the lake. He did really good! Here's a pic of Nicole skiing and a cute pic of the four of us on the pontoon boat.

Happy Birthday Clare!
Today was Clare's birthday party! Clare is Paige's bff and soon to be new neighbor! They are moving in right down the street and I'm so excited. We are going to have so much fun with them! Paige wanted to put Mommy's swimsuit on so Tootsie helped her with that...what a ham! Clare's party was at her grandparents house in Point Loma. They have a beatiul home with a great view of the bay. We got there a little late...surprise...and everyone was eating lunch so there was no one in the pool. Well, as soon as Paige saw the pool, she was ready to get it. She kept pulling on my clothes telling me to take them off and put my swimsuit on! We put her's on first and she almost jumped in the pool without me! Luckily Jerm was quicker than me so he hopped in with Paige and Ava.
After swimming and lunch it was time to open some presents. Paige was really sweet and helped Clare open her present. She brought it to Clare and waited for her to pull the tissue paper out and was very patient. I was really proud of her!
After presents we sang Happy Birthday to Clare and then it was Paige's favorite...cupcake time! She dug in like a pro and finished it in about 5 seconds. Then she pulled her typical routine where she stands next to the cupcake table and waits for someone to give her another cupcake...what a raskal! Clare's grandpa ended up giving her one and she brought it to me like "look what I got Mommy" so I told her we were going to take it home with us to eat later. She threw a little fit but overall she handled it pretty well.

Sea World with Carson
This morning we went to the Stroller Strides class at Sea World. Not the hardest workout...but it's fun to get out and do something different! Sarah, Brooke and Carson met us after class to hang out. Sarah was planning on making it to class but Brooke had different plans :) It was great to go with Sarah because she knew the layout and knew the hot spots to hit. We ate lunch there and Paige and Carson split chicken tenders and fries. Carson liked ketchup on his so Paige thought it looked like fun to squeeze the packets. There was only mustard ones left so that's what she squeezed all over her meal...eww! I wasn't that worried about it because Paige doesn't really eat these days but she decided to take a huge bite of fries with mustard! Needless to say, they didn't stay in her mouth long! I left Paige's shoes at home (pregnancy brain) so I looked at some cookie monster crocks until Sarah informed me that they were $30 so I decided to pass. It worked out fine because she stayed in the stroller most of the time and when she was out playing, you couldn't wear shoes anyway. Here are a few cute pics! You can see the nice mustard stain from lunch on the first pic!

Zoo with Aunt Kendyl
Today we faced the heat and headed to the Zoo. Phew, it was a hot one but I think Paige had fun so it was worth it. She still isn't THAT into the Zoo but I bought a season pass...it was only $60 and the day pass was $35 so I decided it was a better deal. We met Kendyl and her friend Mindy who was visiting from Austin. We saw the flamingos first and Paige was so excited because she had flamingos on her shorts and a little one on her shirt. She thought that was pretty cool and I taught her how to stand like a flamingo...pretty cute! We saw lots of animals but I think her favorite was the elephants. We got to see them eat lunch and get a bath! Crazy to see a huge elephant that close. There was an elephant statue that Paige thought was real so she got really excited to touch it We also saw lions...that was crazy! They were just on the other side of the glass...don't think I've ever been that close to one!

Reyna's SD Baby Shower
Happy Baby Shower Day to Reyna and the twins! Today we had about 30 guests over for Reyna's shower. She got some great gifts and is close to being all set for the twins. We had great time at the shower and it was extra nice for me because her friend Christina planned the whole thing! I just provided the house and Christina did all the hard work. It paid off...the shower was beautiful and everyone had a great time. Here's the happy grandma's! Here's the gang that hung out the longest Here's a picture of Reyna and her twin Renee who are both pregnant (obviously)! Renee is due in October and Reyna will have her babies about the same time...crazy! What a trip to see identical twins that both have baby bellies!

Helping Mommy get ready
Paige has started going into our closet and putting on my shoes! Luckily the ones she grabs are wedges so they have more support than stilettos! Doesn't she look so grown up! She loves to go in our closet while we're getting ready and will shut the door and wait for us to open it and then she'll giggle and will shut it again. She doesn't even seem to be bothered by the darkness! Here's another pic from a day at the beach a while back.

Princess Party at Karina and Izzy's!
Karina and Izzy asked Paige and Clare over for a princess party!! Paige is completely obsessed with princesses right now so this was perfect. Paige kept saying princess in her whiny voice and was so excited because she was surrounded by princess gear. Princess books, dresses, wands, jewelry, sunglasses, shoes...even a princess tent! You name it, they had it. Shereen took tons of pictures so I'll post more when she sends them but here's one I took.
