Waterskiing Trip!

We went to breakfast with Paige and Jerm decided he wanted to take the Jeep! This is the first time we've used it with Paige's forward facing carseat and she had so much fun! At breakfast, Paige discovered jelly and fell in love. She was squeezing it on her fingers and licking it. Mmmmmm! Then I forced Jeromy to go to the grocery store with me (he hates shopping, even grocery shopping) to get snacks for our waterskiing trip and he put Paige in the car grocery cart. She loved it!
Waterskiing was super fun! We went with our neighbors Nicole and Chris and her sister Michelle and her husband Carey to Canyon Lakes. Amazing! Who knew it was there? It was a perfect lake day...100 degrees, Coors Light flowing, no one else on the lake and glassy water with a ski course just waiting for us. Michelle and Carey live there and now Jerm and I are going to try and get Paige's grandparents to move there! Seriously...it's that cool. Everyone had a great time skiing and hanging out but we can't move today. So sore! My calf is covered with bruises from cutting across the wake so quick! Well, not quite as quick as Carey, but he's had a little more practice. In pain now but totally worth it. We've already scheduled a trip for August! I made the course on my third try at 27 mph and couldn't get enough. Not to toot my own horn, but toot-toot! Mommy's still got it :)
We took a picture after every run trying to get a fun shot of us skiing with a big splash in the background. Here's the best one of Nicole and the best one of me Jerm skiied too and was really into skiing the course. He had never done that before and liked it. He was really good...once he got up!
