Mom's Night Out

Last night we went The Melting Pot for our Stroller Strides Mom's Night Out! They had a $20 special where you could get a salad, cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. Who wouldn't love that! We had a great time...maybe too much fun because the couple next to us kept giving us mean looks. I think they were trying to have a romantic dinner...oops. Maybe they didn't enjoy our conversations about babies, preschool and pregnancy! Anyway, we had a great time. Gotta love a night out with the girls!

Childish Couture Event

This morning we went to a fun event put on by Childish Couture. They had face painting, story telling, and party wouldn't be complete without Hullabaloo! Paige had so much fun. Here she is jamming to a little Hullabaloo After the concert the kids created their own course and ran it about 100 times Look at this guilty face! She didn't do anything wrong but it's still pretty funny.

Ethan turns 2!

Happy Birthday Ethan! Tonight we went to the park for his party. Here's Paige putting some time in with the sand. I love that dress! Thanks Tootsie :) The kids had a great time and the parents were big fans of a Tuesday night birthday party! It was nice to have it on a week night so it didn't take up your weekend. Balazs and Victoria get hitched!

Balazs has worked with Jerm since the beginning of Ninthlink (I think) and he got married last night at a beautiful old home in La Jolla. It's called the Darlington House http://www.darlingtonhouse.com/. My friend Sara had her reception there too! It's an amazing house build in 1929...Jerm and I decided we are going to live in a house like that someday. I told him if we ever did, he better also plan to have a lot of maids! Here's a picture of the ceremony and, a picture of us during the reception and a picture of the bride's dress...that she made herself! I am so impressed and kinda speechless! The dress was gorgeous. The picture is kinda blury, but hopefully you get the idea. It took her 4 months and she did it in her home! Very impressive. She is Russian so they added a few traditional things to the wedding. Right after they said "I do", 2 of her closest friends from Russia brought out a huge, round loaf of bread, salt and 2 shots of vodka. Her friends salted the bread and the bride and groom were asked to take a bite of the bread and whoever took the biggest bite were to be known as the head of the household. So, Balazs took a huge bit and Victoria took a sweet little bite. They declared Balazs the winner and then they both took a shot of vodka. Party time!

Kristen's Baby shower

Today was Kristen's baby shower! Her pregnancy has gone by so fast (for me at least). I can't believe she is already 30 weeks! She's having her second boy and hasn't decided the name yet. She's deciding between Landon and Braydon. It was Hawaiian theme and was so cute. It was at Shereen's house so you know the food was yummy! Shereen took a really cute group picture so I'll post it when she sends it :)
When I got home, Paige and Daddy were snuggled up on the couch watching Cinderella for Paige's first time. She LOVED it and asks to watch it everyday. What a cute pic

Planet Illogica Launch Party

Jeromy's company, Ninthlink, just launched a new website www.planetillogica.com...check it out! It's like a Facebook for artists. He has worked so so hard on this and I'm so proud of him. Last night he threw a launch party. There was a live band (one of the guitarist from Jane's Addiction), caricature artists, Sony video games, cirque du soleil like performers, dancers...including one of the finalist from last season's So You Think You Can Dance (yes, I'm a nerd and took a picture with him), sushi, drinks, superhero costumes you could take pictures with, comic books for sale, and of course...the most talked about entertainment from the men...I mean boys...live body art. There were models in nothing but undies being painted on by famous artists! My friend Shereen and her hubby Isa came with his sister and her fiance. A bunch of other friends were there (about 1000 people!) but I only got a picture with Shereen and Isa. What a fun night! Congrats to Jerm and everyone associated with the launch. You all worked so hard and I'm so proud of you!

Hullabaloo concert

This morning we went to a Hullabaloo concert. I was a little worried because they were holding it outside, but there was plenty of shade, so it worked out nice. Doesn't she look like such a big girl! And, check out her new shoes Reyna found. They are Llli Kelly shoes and are so stinkin cute. Also, notice the bandaid on her right knee. She fell he other day and had her first blood wound :( We got her princess bandaids so she is so stoked everyday to put one on. She is obsessed with princesses right now. Every time we see one she screams "PRINCESS!"
Paige loves going to these. When I ask her if she wants to go to Hullabaloo, she sings "loo loo skip loo". What a cutie.

After the concert we went to the mall for lunch and played in the water. We had a fun day just hanging out with no real schedule..how nice :)

Playdate with Clare and Palmer

This morning Sara came over with the kids for a playdate. Paige and Clare are so much alike, it's funny! They both wanted the same baby, both wanted to sit in the pink chair, and would follow each other around. It was cute. They played in the princess house, drew with chalk and played inside. Sara was putting him in his carseat and Paige said "Paige...hold it...Paige...hold it" so...here ya go!She loves babies! The other day we were at Stroller Strides playing with baby Maddie. Paige brought over all of her favorite toys...even her princesses...and showed them to Maddie and sat them in front of her. She was telling Maddie all about them. She's going to be such a great big sister! It was fun to watch

A few weeks ago, we got Paige an outside playhouse with a kitchen. She absolutely adores it and wants to be playing in it at all times and wants to eat all her meals out there. Since watching the Barbie Nutcracker she now refers to it as her princess house! I was getting my hair done the other day and Nicole watched her so this is at Nicole's house. How cute is that?! Paige hasn't ever actually gone to the restroom in the potty (except one time when Tootsie was here and caught her halfway through) but she is very interested in sitting on the potty. Now she has started to get tissue paper and do the whole routine except actually using the potty!

Del Mar Summer Concert

Tonight, along with probably 2000 other people, we headed to the beach in Del Mar for their Summer concert. There were soo many people there! There was not one open space of grass. Luckily Nicole and Chris headed down there early and scored a spot. We had so much fun. Paige, Ethan and Ava played in the sand and danced their little hearts out....to cute Chris took the kids down to the beach. Paige and him are buds ;)

First Gymnastics Class!

This morning we went to Paige's first open gym class! Paige had a great time. It brought back some memories for me! The smell of a stinky gym and walking on those mats brought me right back to my cheerleading days. Here's a pic of Paige doing what she calls a head stand! I guess it is :)

Reyna's Tehachapi Shower

Friday we headed up to Tehachapi for Reyna's baby shower. Clela and I hosted (she did all the work!) so she was a busy little bee setting up when we arrived. It was soooo hot up there! Paige didn't waste anytime and hopped right in the wading pool Then she decided she should water the water, and why wouldn't you!
