Story Time

We went to the Rancho Santa Fe library with some preschool friends the other week. I sat Tyler down and he sat there for like 3 minutes listening to the story! It was so cute and I couldn't believe that he sat still for that long. After the story they did a craft.

Strawberry Pickin

Yesterday we had such a fun morning! We met the McCallion, Reardon, Szekeres and Donnelley families at the Strawberry fields to pick strawberries! Then we went to play at the park and have lunch at Oggi's pizza. Tyler loved getting dirty and climbing around.

Del Mar Fair!

How much FUN! We went to the fair last Sunday. We got there at 9:30 and they opened at 10am so we lucked out on the crowd. We were done by 1 and that's just when it started to get crowded. Anyway, we started the day walking through and seeing cows and goats. The kids didn't seem to enjoy this part much...Tyler was crying to get out of the stroller and Paige covered her nose because she couldn't stand the smell!!

Then we were off to the pony rides...my favorite! I was trying to get Paige pumped up before we left the house so she wore her cowgirl boots and hat...giddy up cowgirl! She loved it that her pony's name was Ruby ;)
We tried to let Tyler ride but he wasn't into it AT ALL! When he wants up, he'll throw his arms up like this.

She kept the face painting on until I made her take it off on Tuesday...she loved it

Happy Birthday Mark!

Last Wednesday night we had Mark and his girlfriend Tasha, Matt, Reyna and kiddos over to celebrate Mark's birthday. Burgers and beer...can't beat that on a Summer night! The kids had so much fun playing together. I'm so glad the kids live by their cousins!

We were playing upstairs and I tried a robe Ethan gave us...it fit! How cute is this little blue eyed boy?!

And, of course, Paige had to get hers too...with a little more accessorizing. I snapped this before she had a chance to smile. Looks like a rockstar the morning after
Paige was playing in her room and asked me to come in there and said "Look Mom, it's a Minnie Van!" Pretty clever ;)
