Lake Tahoe

What a great trip! Jeromy and I went to Tahoe for some skiing and r&r with Tracy and her husband Mike. Jerm and I flew out early...like, 6:30am early Thursday morning and Tracy and Mike got there late Friday morning.

Yeah! So excited for our trip!!

We arrived to Tahoe and there was no snow! Here's Tracy's parents cabin. AMAZING and the perfect place for a quiet get away. The first day we just went to lunch and got everything set up to hit the slopes early.
Pic from Tootsie of the kids titled "Breakfast and Bibles" - Paige's little pink Bible was the biggest conflict between the two of them so Tootsie got Tyler one just like Paige's!
Curious to see how it looks up on the mountains because there is NO SNOW on the ground! And, we are one of about 10 cars in the parking lot!

Surprise...there is snow!! We had a BLAST skiing!!!!

That night we left for Reno at 4pm to get Tracy and Mike at the airport. There was a severe wind advisory and a fire in one of the nearby towns so the main highway was shut down. Needless to say, it was quite an adventure to get to the airport but not quite as adventurous as Tracy and Mike's flight! They had a super scary flight and ended up having to land in SF to refuel and finally landed safe in Reno around 9. We got home at 11pm and planned to go to bed early but ended up staying up until 4am! I haven't stayed up that late in a very, very long time! Such a fun night!

The next morning we did a little sledding on the streets. Didn't work that great but it was fun to play in the snow.

Sunday we hit the slopes again and had great snow!
