Dinner at Teresa & Doug's

Tonight we went to Teresa and Doug's for dinner. They moved into a new place a few months ago so we wanted to check it out and we wanted to spend some time with Doug before he left for Afghanistan again...can't believe it's already time for him to go again :( Anyway, we had a great time and Paige had so much fun with their dog, Maddox. He was playing with her so good and towards the end he was getting tired so Paige got a napkin and put it on him like a blanket and told us to be quiet because the dog was sleeping! I can't believe Maddox just sat there while she did that!
She didn't stay in the position long enough for me to get a picture, but she has this new thing where she rests her chin on her hands while her elbows are on the table. What a character!

Firetruck Tour!

On our way out of Tehachapi, we stopped by the firehouse to say hi to Tyson and have him take us on a tour of the firetruck! How cool! I've never seen a firetruck that close and it was pretty neat. Paige was kinda scared so we didn't stay long but had fun while we were there. Thanks Tyson!

CABIN FEVER! We decided to take a walk to get out of the house for a while and get some fresh air. Jerm was golfing with Todd so that's why he isn't with us :) We bundled up and hit the road! Paige acted like she knew exactly where she was going and started to take off with out us!

Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas! How cool to wake up on Christmas morning to snow! It was snow from a few days prior but it still worked! Paige started off her day with a little playtime outside with TJ and Grammie.

Then down the hill she went!

Christmas Eve with Princess Taitlin & Prince Truxton

Tonight Julie and Tyson brought the kids over to hang out for a while. Paige met Taitlin and Truxton a few months ago when they were visiting San Diego but Paige loved Taitlin tonight! She thought she was a princess!! She is almost 5 years old but is very petite so she looks about Paige's age. They are such great kids and play so well with Paige. It's fun to see their relationship as brother and sister...makes me excited for Paige to have a little brother!

We brought Paige's swing for Zoey and Paige thought she should test it out before we put Zoey in. She's such a big kid now!

I was wrapping all the gifts to take to Grammy and Pappy's house and Paige was helping me with the bows by peeling the sticker off the back. I got involved with wrapping and didn't know she was putting the bows on herself instead of handing them to me! Silly goose...

Baking Cookies at Kim's!

Today we went to Kim's house to bake cookies! Paige and I have never done this so I was really excited. Here's a pic of the girls rolling out the dough and cutting out some cute Christmas shapes! Paige kept sneaking bites of the dough...

Then we put icing and sprinkles on them...how fun!

Couples Party at Shereens!!

Last night was so much fun! Shereen and Isa hosted a couples party for all our friends. She had great drinks (especially the sparking water for me!) and great food. Matt and Reyna babysat for us...this was the first time since the twins arrived...and Paige had a great time playing with them. Here's Zoey and Paige playing with her princess castle before we walked out the door. I don't know where Paige learned to sit like this but she keeps doing it and I think it's hilarious!

Shereen never drinks and we keep forcing her to! She doesn't like the taste and has never really drank but we keep making her try new things to see if she likes it. Jonna made her some vodka, pomegranate drink and she looks like it's working!

We did a white elephant exchange and I think I was one of two people who brought real gifts. Oops! I just assumed we weren't doing funny ones. We had a great time exchanging and stealing gifts. Poor Sara kept getting good gifts and having them stolen but she ended up with a good one in the end. Sarah was the one stealing and she ended up with a toilet scrubber!! Ha! The best gift of the night was a sexy Mrs. Claus outfit. Knee high fish nets, a mini Santa skirt complete with hooks to hold your stockings up and a Santa hat. Pearl ended up with it!!!! We'll see if baby #3 comes along next September ;) Shereen had it at one point...ha!
