These kids LOVE to go to the skatepark! The Poway skatepark opens at 8am so we've been taking the kiddos early before anyone else gets there to ride around. They have a rule that you have to have knee pads, etc so we went to the skateboard shop and got the kids all geared up...oh, and we left with a new skateboard for Paige :) I wanted to wait and give it to her for her birthday but "wait" isn't really in Jeromy's vocabulary so she got it that day! It's black with pink along the rim and I think the brand is on the top in pink. Way cooler than an all pink board! They got to pick out some stickers to put on their boards and they love doing that. Now, every time we see a skate shop we have to go in to get some new stickers. Oh, and since this picture Jeromy got a new board too :)
These are a little out of order because these were taken before they got their safety gear, but you get the idea. Tyler is actually really good and way too confident! We've watched some of the bigger kids on their bikes and Tyler got some big ideas. He put his bike up on this step and went down twice successfully. I didn't get a picture, but he then went over to the rails and started to put his bike up there and asked me to help him...ummm, no way jose!
One morning Jeromy took the kids and let me sleep in (Mom's night out at Club M...what a great hubby!) and these were the pics he got. Looks like he totally wore them out!
