Yesterday, Paige and I headed up to LA for Kadee's baby shower. Kadee and I have been friends since first grade and she is the reason Jeromy and I met! She is due March 14 and I'm due March 19...who in the world would have thought we'd be pregnant at the same time, due within a week of each other and both living in Southern California!
Her favors were apples tied up with cute fabric and a ribbon and a really sweet Bible verse with something about bearing fruit. Paige dug into the apple. She also found the TV playing Sponge Bob and couldn't resist!
It was a long trip - we left the house at 1:30 and didn't get home until 9pm but Paige was a trooper and I'm so glad I brought her. It would have been a lonely ride to and from LA all alone! I was curious how she would act at the shower since we weren't going to know anyone except Kadee and her Mom but Paige was the hit of the party! She was really well behaved, super friendly and had a great time.

Busy Little Beavers
Sure Mommy, I went right to sleep...
This afternoon I opened Paige's door during her nap to check on her...which is something I almost never do in fear of waking her up...and I found thisAt first I looked around her room thinking maybe she was playing and fell asleep on the floor or something but then I saw her little head under the book!
This Princess & The Frog seek and find book is her favorite book right now and I guess she wasn't quite done looking at it when I left her room...little rascal!

Lil' Kickers Soccer
This morning we went to Lil' Kickers soccer. Lesson learned...I don't think Paige is quite ready for soccer but I think she had fun! I think she was the most excited about her buds Ethan and Ava being there. Ava was really sweet and made sure Paige knew what was going on and was doing the right thing. What a great friend!
Movie Night with Dad
I've gone out 3 nights this week which is totally rare and last night before I left, Paige and Jerm were getting all snuggled up in our bed to watch Beauty and the Beast. Paige was in Heaven - mac & cheese, milk, princess sleeping bag, Dad by her side and a princess movie. I took this picture on my phone so it didn't turn out great but I had to capture this Princess Paige moment.

Evil Knievel
Tonight I went to Sarah's house for a little well deserved girl time...well this is my third time to go out this week so I'm not sure if it was necessary but it sure was fun! Anyway, Jeromy took Paige over to Nicole and Chris' to hang out and they ended up playing a little Evil Knievel! Nicole would wind a motorcycle guy up and have him jump over all the kiddos! Too bad Paige never has any fun with her Dad :)
32 Week Appointment
Today I had my 32 week appointment and everything looks great! I'm still measuring big - she said 34 weeks which isn't that big really, since I'm 33 weeks tomorrow but we talked about when and if she would induce me. She said a week early would be March 12 and she might even do it as early as March 10. She is on call March 8 and I would love to have her deliver Tyler but she didn't know if she felt comfortable delivering that early only because he is big. We'll decide all of this when the date is closer but it's exciting that it's so close!

Paige's first dance class!!!
Paige took her first dance lesson yesterday!! This was such an exciting day for both of us! She has been walking around on her tippy toes and arms over her head like a ballerina for a week straight so I decided to go ahead and take her to dance class. I just don't know how it's all going to work out when Tyler comes...but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. We went to the YMCA and they have a great program that involves tap and ballet. This class was a free trial and we really liked it! I'm also planning to have her try a class at a dance studio and see which one we like better. The YMCA is about 20 minutes away but is half the price...so I have to decide which one works better for us.
Paige did so good! She got most of the moves and wasn't scared at all. She hopped to the front of the line and jumped right in like she knew exactly what she was doing. I am so proud of her! Now we just need to get some dance gear. She had so much fun and was saying "more dance" as we were walking away from the class. I'm so happy she likes to dance!
After class we met Kim, Cici and Oliver at PlayWerx. What a fun morning! I took some pictures but they didn't turn out that great.

Tyler's Shower with Stroller Strides!
Last night we went to En Fuego's to have a shower for Baby Tyler! We've had the last few baby showers there and they are always so much fun. We had a great turnout and I got some super cute goodies for Tyler! We always play this game where each Mom shares a fact about themselves that no one would already know, make a list of those facts and the game is to figure out who's fact is who's! There were some really surprising things on the list. Here were a few:
- I used to dive with bull sharks - no cage - in Costa Rica
- I won a McDonald's eating competition in college against a bunch of frat boys
- I drove off a 100 ft cliff and walked away
and the best one (jk)
- I graduated college with Choctaw as my foreign language...that was mine! Ha!
Anyway, it was really fun and I feel so blessed to have such a great group of friends!

Happy Birthday Mika!
Last night we went to Mike and Linda's house to celebrate Mika's 4th birthday! We had such a great time! There were 8 kiddos and most of the kids were around 4, there was one 10 year old and then Paige. It was so fun to watch her interact with the big kids. She would follow them and do whatever they did. She had so much fun!
After dinner we headed to the backyard to hit a pinata! Paige loved this part. She keeps talking about it how we broke it and got candy! Her favorite was the candy bracelet. We kept trying to get her to stand next to us so she wouldn't get hit but she wanted to stand by all the kids and kept saying "with kids, with kids"! She was showing off her ballerina moves and went up to 2 different boys who totally denied her! She held her hands out and said "want to dance" and they both looked at her like she was crazy. Luckily Dad was close so she had a boy to dance with her.
And then Paige's real favorite...ice cream cake! She couldn't get enough. I kept telling her it was all gone and she kept spotting more cake! The little boy next to her gave her his leftovers!Rain, Rain, go away!
It has been raining here all week and we were getting a stir crazy! Thursday, Danielle asked us over for a playdate...thank goodness! Here's Corbin giving Clare a ride in the baby's stroller. Wee!
They were all running around pushing something screaming at the top of their lungs. It's Paige's favorite thing to do right now. Crazy kid!
