It's HOT here Mom!

My kids are not used to this heat! It's at least 100 degrees plus humidity...phew! Sunday morning we went to the park and they looked like they were going to pass out. We went around 10am and it was already to hot to be outside and not in a pool. My Mom and I ran around the park and Jerm and Wally Pop played with the kids.

Apparently, Jeromy thought Tyler he and Tyler would be cooler with their shirts off...

Trying to get a picture of Tyler with a Man's shop hat on in his Man's Shop rideWe couldn't get Tyler to pose, but Jeromy didn't seem to have a problem striking a few (and yes, he is fully aware that you can see his little hiney...he pulled his pants down to make sure)

There, now that's more like it!
Jeromy had so much fun playing washers at the Crudups house, he decided to make his own and was working on the details while we were all in the pool. He went to my Poppa's house and they made it together in my Poppa's barn. They were outside for 3 hours with no AC...I don't know how they did it! I'm sure my Poppa loved every minute of this. He loves to tinker with things and work with wood so this was right up his alley.

Ha! This picture is proof that Tyler did have on swim trunks and shirt and Tootsie took off the shorts! These are a little big so that's why she took them off...
Tyler LOVES him some watermelon! He was having a little watermelon break and shoved in as much as he could fit in his little mouth!
That night we went to Lisa and Ryan Dwinell's house for a 4th of July party. They have a little boy Ben who's one month older than Tyler and a little girl Addison who's a year older than Paige. They had lots of friends, family and tons of kids over so we all had a blast!

Tyler and Ben
Playing washers like the big boys
Once again...Paige is in the water!
The little boys were having quite the time climbing in and out, and on top of Addison's car

Could they be any cuter?!
Time for fireworks!
We bought some kid friendly fireworks on the way home and did a few while the sun was still out
These pics of me and Paige are so funny. You can't really tell but she has her left hand on her hip just like me. Not sure why I thought it was necessary to have a cheerleader stance while holding my sparkler but Paige must have thought it looked like a good idea because she is standing the same!

We put them out on the bark and firewoman Paige splashed them with a little water to be 100% sure the fire was completely out.
