Happy Memorial Day!

Today we went to the PHR pool to celebrate Memorial Day and had so much fun! I LOVE summer time at the pool. Here's Paige having a quick snack.

Last dance class

This morning was Paige's last dance class of the session. We're going to take a break for the Summer. Mostly because her teacher doesn't teach over the Summer and we love her! Tootsie was so happy to be there with Paige. It worked out GREAT for me! Tootsie did the whole class with her and I was busy with Tyler. Here they are doing some heel taps!

Splish Splash

These pictures are from about a month ago and I'm just now posting them! I've been so busy lately :) No big story on this just some cute pics of Paige in the bath. She LOVES taking a bath right now.

Dear Lord...

What a great night! We had such a fun time at the beach. Tonight was supposed to be my parents last night here but they extended their trip until Thursday! We went Del Mar and got pizza to eat on the grass. The slices are huge so Wally Pop taught Paige how to fold her pizza and she liked that idea.

On the way home Paige (with no prompting) said "Dear Lord, thank you for my Tootsie, Wally Pop, Mommy, Daddy and baby Tyler". Is that not the most precious thing you have ever heard? I cried. I was almost perfect except she listed Tootsie first! ha ;)

We finally rode in the car...

We went to the grocery store today...or should I say the circus went to the grocery store today! I swear we were there FOREVER! Tyler was asleep most of the time in the carseat and Paige was actually really good in the car. She didn't get out once...we just bought more stuff! The first thing she picked out was a loaf of bread...yes, you read that correctly...a loaf of bread! The kid who has never taken a bite of a sandwich wanted a loaf of bread. She only wanted it because it was branded "Toy Story". She's seen the movie once! She grabbed the loaf before I even knew what she was doing and gave it a big hug. Well, I guess it is ours now! Then she decided she was tired and took a 5 second nap in the car and used the loaf of bread as a pillow. Yes, it was definitely ours now. And, we bought Tiana fruit snacks. Anyway, we were there forever but it was fun :)

Overnight Date Night!

Jeromy and I had an overnight date night last night! It was so fun...just too short! We stayed in La Jolla and had planned to go out to dinner but ended up just staying and eating at Humphrey's in the hotel. I thought we were at the old folks home!!! The chairs had rollers on the bottom of them (Luby's style for those of you who know Luby's) and I swear the average age was 60! No Mom, it's not that old...but not quite the atmosphere I thought we'd spend date night! It really didn't matter though. We were just happy to be out to dinner alone! We headed back to room for me to pump and walked past the bar...and it was karoke night!!! Talk about entertaining. We were going to go back but decided we wanted a good night's sleep and ended up staying in the room. The next morning we got in the hot tub for a while, picked up lunch and headed home. It was so nice to get away for a night...thanks for babysitting T and W!

This is a picture from that morning. My Mom got Tyler some beach gear. SPF swim shirt, trunks and shoes with skull and crossbones! It's so cute. I put on Tyler's skull and crossbone onesie and his new shoes. Love the shoes!

"Sprinkle" for Baby Grace

My friend Misty is expecting her third child and she's so excited that it's a girl! She has 2 little boys already. Her shower was at her friends house in Carlsbad...what an amazing house! It was such a beautiful day and I had some fun girl time :) Can't wait to meet Baby Grace!

Tootsie & Wally Pop are here!

Tootsie and Wally Pop got here today. Yahoo! They were so excited to be here. They hadn't seen Tyler since he was born so they were missing him...and Paige too, of course :)

I had Paige and Tyler in their UT gear when we picked them up from the airport. Yes, I went to OU and this is probably considered a crime by most but I did it anyway! Paige had on her UT cheerleader outfit and Tyler was in a footed sleeper. My good friend Lisa gave us a bunch of hand-me-downs and included in that package was some UT gear! So, I didn't purchase any of it myself...does that make it excusable?
We went straight to Kendyl's new place so they could check it out. It's a tiny place in OB but has an amazing view of the ocean and a huge courtyard. She loves it! Tootsie gave Paige a new princess dress...Tiana! That is Paige's favorite right now so she was super excited. We were talking about how it was my birthday and asked Paige what kind of party she wanted to have and she said Tiana! Not all the princesses, just Tiana. So, we'll see if she still thinks that 6 months from now! If so, we've got her birthday outfit covered!

We hung out in the courtyard for a while and Paige entertained us with her dance moves. Jeromy played some music from his Iphone and she hopped on the little grass patch and went to town. We called this her stage :) She LOVES to dance right now and is actually pretty good! She does ballerina moves that she learned from her Barbie ballerina movie. I have a feeling my future is going to be spent watching many hours of this little girl dancing!
We went to dinner at Espresso's. It's a cute little Italian place right down the street from her house. Jeromy and I used to go there all the time when he lived in OB so it was fun to think about how much has changed since the last time we were there!
